Optometry Board Guidance in Registering as a Dispensing Optometrist

Step Two - Register as a Dispensing Optometrist (instructions within the BOP Guide Below)

STEP ONE

CREATING A PROFILE
- Once you start this process, you cannot leave it without losing data.
- Otherwise, your account may be created, but you will not be able to access it without contacting the Board of Pharmacy
ON THE FIRST PAGE, THE FIRST TWO ANSWERS ARE 'NO'

- UNDER CONTACT INFORMATION, YOU WILL SEE THE QUESTIONS IN THE IMAGE TO THE RIGHT:
  - YOU MUST LEAVE NABP E-PROFILE NUMBER BLANK (circled)
  - AT THE VERY END OF THE REGISTRATION PROCESS, YOU'LL GET AN ALERT SAYING YOU MUST HAVE a NABP e-Profile NUMBER, PLEASE IGNORE THAT.

STEP TWO

Log back into your Portal and follow the guidance provided by the Board of Pharmacy here:

HOWEVER - Before logging back in, you will need to have the following two documents prepared:

A draft pharmacy label, an example is provided to the right ➡️
