CHOROIDAL NEOVASCULARIZATION
Exudative maculopathy is caused by choroidal neovascularization. A
grayish-green choroidal neovascular membrane is seen. Early in the exudative
process, subretinal fluid, hemorrhage and lipid appear secondary to the
neovascularization.
